Thank you for checking out the UNLV SHORT FILM ARCHIVE website. Like the archive itself, we are under heavy construction – and will be so well into the future. In fact, as an on-going, ever-growing archive, we will ALWAYS be under construction because we will ALWAYS be growing.

Since one of the goals of the archive is to make as much of our collection and educational activities available to UNLV and to the Las Vegas community (as well as to the entire world, for that matter), we strive to let you know what shorts we have available for viewing and what public activities we are sponsoring as soon as possible.

Since beginning the UNLV Short Film Archive on August 1, 2003, we have acquired hundreds of short films. In the next few weeks, you will be able to check the website to see the current list of shorts the archive has acquired. Eventually, they will be available to view by the UNLV community (and the public at-large) in the Media Department of Lied Library.

Please check back with us from time-to-time to watch us grow and to see what is going on with the UNLV Short Film Archive. If you see or hear about a great short you want to see, email us with the information about that short and we will try to acquire it. If you have a short or shorts collection you want to donate, please let us know. If you have any suggestions for the archive, please let us know that, too.
